Hjarbæk Bed & Breakfast is situated in the delightful surroundings of Hjarbæks old fishing harbour in the southern part of Hjarbæk fjord, about 10 km North/West of Viborg. The nearby area is a wild life refuge and has a great variety of birds and animals. In the harbour you will find the old boat type “Sjægt” highly represented among the modern sailboats and fishingboats

Hjarbæk has the perfect atmosphere for a relaxing weekend, or a peaceful stay on your business trip.
It is a great starting point to experience the wonderful nature and many cultural events the area has to offer 

We offer

• The Maids Room; -charming room fully furnished with access to a kitchenette, sleeps 2.
• Captains Quarters; -delightful studio apartment with views over the fjord,comfortable furnishings
  and a fully equipped kitchen, sleeps 2, but 4 with extra bedding.

At our Bed & Breakfast we put a lot of emphasis in Simple Living and recreation; we have therefore arranged our rooms to ensure you the best possibility for relaxation and tranquility. As our guest you are always welcome to access our cozy patio garden with The Secret Cafe.

Hjarbæk Bed & Breakfast is located in a historic farm house. This wonderful property from the early 1900 offers access to a relaxing garden with dining patio and lounge chairs. Tea, coffee and muffins are served at ‘The secret Café’ in the garden.
